So I stumbled upon this craziness. Fortnite is really out here doing collabs with everybody and their mother. Next thing you know, they’re teaming up with, I kid you not, The Simpsons. Imagine Homer Simpson awkwardly building a wall while dodging bullets. It’s funny, but also kind of dystopian.

Okay, first off, The Simpsons has been around forever, like even longer than all my confusing teenage skincare routines. Who thought merging Bart Simpson’s mischief with Fortnite’s world would be a good idea? I’m just picturing Bart riding the Battle Bus with his classic “Eat my shorts!” grin, and Lisa trying to snipe opponents with her saxophone. Wouldn’t be surprised if Homer’s power-up is some donut-themed fiasco. But there’s some charm in the chaos, right? Maybe.
And this whole battle pass trailer thing? I haven’t even gotten into the Xbox variations yet — as if mixing a cartoon sitcom with a battle royale doesn’t sound wild enough. I’ve seen some Xbox adventures that were less convoluted. You can’t make this stuff up.

Throwing The Simpsons in the ring with Fortnite is like putting pineapple on pizza. It’ll have its fans, sure, but others are going to be seriously confused. I can’t decide if this is genius or just some executive’s ‘let’s see what happens’ moment. My head’s spinning faster than a Fortnite dance emote lineup.
Are we reaching peak crossover madness yet? Probably. But who am I to judge? My gaming console’s just as indecisive as I am about these updates. Anyway, if anyone sees Homer floss-dancing, please send help. My eyes still hurt. Ugh.
