So, Xbox is apparently getting Playstation games now? What kind of parallel universe have we slipped into? I mean, I get it. We’re all supposed to be singing Kumbaya and sharing, but this one has me raising an eyebrow.

Imagine waking up and hearing that Marvel characters are joining the DC universe. Yeah, it feels that odd. Consoles have been like these territorial besties with invisible walls—each with their exclusives that make you drool over what the other guy has. Like back in the day, only one team could have GoldenEye or Halo. That was the unspoken law of the land. But now, Xbox players might just be getting a taste of what Playstation folks are enjoying.
But, do we even know which games? I don’t even understand how this crossover is happening. Is it just a few indie titles no one has heard of, or are we talking about those massive franchises like God of War or Uncharted making a guest appearance on Xbox? Somebody, enlighten me.
Anyway, on a personal note, the last time these two felt like they were in the same sentence was when my buddy tried to convince me that his Playstation had better graphics than my Xbox 360. Spoiler alert: he was wrong. Now seeing as potentially these supposedly exclusive games are crossing over makes you wonder, is this the calm before some storm or just a massive marketing hoax?
I bumped into this list of gaming industry changes and it makes me think there might be a lot more going on behind the curtains.

Maybe it’s just a strategy to get us talking. Well, it’s working. My head’s a little spun. Hope this means fewer fights over who has the better console. Or maybe it’ll just open a can of new arguments about who gets the better port-quality of games. My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
